    Detty is enjoying a quiet life with her baby, Niki junior. Whilst on maternity leave, she accepts an invitation to sing Leonore in Beethoven’s Fidelio in Budapest. Sixtus Beckmesser, a character from Wagner’s Die Meistersinger, is the pen name of Richard France. He was a GP and cognitive psychotherapist in Hampshire and has written a number of books on psychotherapy. A lover of Europe, since retirement, he has been travelling widely, mainly to music festivals and living part-time in Italy. He writes contemporary and adventure stories relevant to today.
