    • revise colours: red, green, yellow, blue, and orange.
    Interesting ways of spending time with your child:

    Take all the pieces of your winter clothing and gather it all in one place in front of you. Give them names together, and try to establish their colours. Ask your child to find objects in the room that are of the same colours as the clothes. You can also get some summer clothes ready and place them among the winter wear. Your child’s task will be to select the ones that are suitable for the winter. Let your child put on his/her winter cap, zip the jacket up, or put on the gloves on his/her own.

Are they safe on the beach?  Thanks to this book, your child will: - learn about summer;  - get to know some beach safety rules; - find out what the job of a lifeguard is about; - find out about the equipment used by a lifeguard: a tall chair, binoculars and a rescue buoy; - find out why it is necessary to use sunscreen and how to do it.  Interesting ways of spending time with your child: Take your child for a swim. Talk to him/her about beach safety, lake safety, and swimming pool safety. Show him/her pictures of a lifeguard and his/her equipment. Make binoculars together, for example using paper towel rolls.

Thanks to this book, your child will: pay attention to safety rules when travelling by car; learn what an orchard is; learn about how fruits grow; get to know the names of some fruit trees; find out what we can make of fruits that ripen in autumn. Interesting ways of spending time with your child: Take different types of fruits and talk with your child about their shapes and colours.
