Unquiet Magic Series

A year ago Jack Belamit and Carlos Colosio went in search of Jack's father, the incubus Belamit. With the aid of Belamit's beautiful and terrifying business rival, the sorceress Anaksut, their mission was a success, and now a detente of sorts prevails between Anaksut and the Belamit family. Jack's brother Rafe has gone into the real estate business with the witch, and the future looks bright.   When Rafe and Anaksut buy a romantic resort hotel on the shores of Canada's Georgian Bay, however, they discover that the hotel is haunted by a naked ghost who roams the halls apparently searching for something or someone. Rafe hires Jack and Carlos to deal with the ghost, accompanied by one of Anaksut's employees, a cheerful young man called Bob who previously spent a hundred years and a day in the form of a pig on Anaksut's Mediterranean island.   While he and Carlos are investigating the mysterious tower that stands at the center of the hotel, Jack is snatched away through time by the ghost. Dragged into the past to serve as a slave to the unbalanced Adrian Tasker and his Brotherhood, Jack must overcome Tasker and find a way back to his own time before Tasker seals off the pathway to the future forever.

Jack Belamit has been living a nice life as a quiet, modestly affluent gay man. No obligations, no stress, and a love life consisting of casual hookups at a neighborhood bar. Now, however, Jack's father and brother have disappeared, and one of the senior Belamit's rivals is moving in on his business empire, dragging Jack into the conflict. Jack's father, however, is not just any reclusive billionaire, but an incubus, a creature that feeds on the sexual energies of humans, and his rival is the witch Anaksut, the most beautiful, and dangerous, woman in the world.   Jack's inheritance from his father includes fragments of incubus magic, which he struggles to understand and control, as well as the avatar, a damaged copy of his father's personality that was accidentally imprinted on Jack's psyche in the womb. In the past the avatar has helped Jack, but over time it has become increasingly unstable, with an agenda all its own.   Jack realizes that his only hope of getting his life back on track is to work with Anaksut to find his father. Anaksut assigns Carlos Colosio to accompany Jack as her spy. Carlos was once a timid delivery driver from Guanajuato, but has been transformed by Anaksut into a satyr, a being with more-than-human vitality and sexual prowess. With Carlos' help, Jack tracks his father and brother to a remote Caribbean island, but not before he experiences an eye-opening evening in a sex club in the Baltics, a visit to a frigid mountaintop weather station and its lonely keeper, two days on the job in a tropical bordello, and frantic sex with a sentient thunderstorm.   On the island of Las Sirenas, Jack discovers that everything he thought he knew about himself and his family is wrong. Jack has no choice but to embrace his heritage and come to terms with his feelings for his family, and for Carlos.

While the rest of Carlos Colosio's transformation from timid virgin to sexy satyr suits him just fine, things have gone too far when he starts growing a tail. To deal with the unwelcome development, he and Jack Belamit turn to the witch Anaksut, Jack's old nemesis, for help. While Carlos goes under the knife, the sorceress has a job for Jack: Track down the sexual vampire who is preying on men in the Free City of Helgenberg. To conceal Jack's identity, Anaksut arranges for him to star in a porn video that is being shot in the neighborhood where the predator is active. To complicate matters even further, Jack's brother Rafe has attached himself to the investigation as Jack's sidekick. Who is the vampire stalking the Free City? How can Jack lure him into the open? And most importantly of all, can Jack avoid becoming the next victim?
