About this series
The game was something Viktor was starting to dread more and more. Things didn't go according to plan, people were swayed by a sweet promise of power and quickly changed allegiances, leaving his back open to attack.
Still, not everything was so bleak.
Taking the reins over one's future is the only way to survive in such a mad world, and no matter how much he thinks he can trust others, Viktor is proven wrong over and over again.
The gods don't play fair, not even his patron, and Viktor has to decide on how to move toward the final battle that is looming. As if treacherous aliens aren't enough, new forces invade Sylmar and the other major cities out in the real world. But when given the chance to turn a certain enemy into a possible ally, Viktor will accept almost any bargain to bolster his forces . . . for he can't do everything alone. Not anymore.

Given a second chance at life, now he must play for his life. Betrayed by those closest to him, Viktor's soul couldn't move on for decades. Pitied by one of the Gods, he was given the chance to participate in the next round of bets between the gods. It was an eternally violent game known as Towers and Rifts. The world he found himself in was nothing like the one he'd spent centuries cultivating and becoming stronger. He was right back at the bottom along with everyone else but for the knowledge he retained. The day the tower spawned, everyone was given access to a strange and game-like system he only knew about from memories of the body he inherited. The first order of the day: to heal from the horrible wounds that came along with the new body and to tackle the "Beginner's Quest" everyone was given. Viktor was at the top before he died the first time so he knew what it was like to be powerful, in control, and a warrior without an equal. Nothing would stop him from getting to the top using this second chance he'd been given. Experience the start of an epic LitRPG Cultivation Fantasy Series perfect for fans of authors like Tao Wong, C. M. Carney, and M. H. Johnson. Towers and Rifts is filled with cultivation, measurable power progression, crunchy stats, loot, immortal gods, intriguing characters, and everything lovers of all progression fantasy, GameLit/LitRPG, xianxia, and xuanhuan expect.
- Crafting Death: A LitRPG Cultivation Series
2
Having weathered the storm, Viktor and his group of newfound friends arrive at the rift. The first thing to do is to survey the new lands and get their hands dirty. Monsters and hostile locals that outnumber them 100-to-1 are just the beginning. The portal home opened on the seventh day, giving them a chance to go back to Sylmar, the only place that can access the new rift. Going back wasn't such a smart move as both the military, the Green Dragons, and the Apocalypse Association are all very interested in a monopoly over the city. It wouldn't take much to start a war in the megacity after the number of awakened sky-rocketed, but instilling fear through violence could be the only solution to keep everyone in line. At least, until Viktor and his group managed to beat the tower's guardian and give everyone access so no group has a monopoly on power. Sylmar was only a small part of the problem as the contestants inside the rift died like flies, giving rise to several powers holding a monopoly over the zones. How far would the game force Viktor to go to secure the survival of his newfound friends and family? The Towers and Rifts series continues, filled with cultivation, measurable power progression, crunchy stats, loot, immortal gods, intriguing characters, and everything lovers of all progression fantasy, GameLit/LitRPG, xianxia, and xuanhuan expect.
