Even so, the demon was moving forward, little by little and introducing various colors to this unblemished blank piece of paper, and slowly it turned into the most vivid and breathtaking painting.

    Luo Xiao's path takes him on a journey across the continent with the purpose of tempering himself through bloodshed and battle. By his side is Jiang Yao, a deadly guardian angel, ready to protect him in times of need, but after understanding the beauty of the diverse world, Luo Xiao is not longer willing to merely be protected and stay away from all approaching dangers.

    As the vast world allows Luo Xiao to embrace his future, he now aspires to stand at the top of the world alongside the Seventh Demon Prince, fighting to carve a path forward with relentless fierceness, ignoring fatigue and pain.

      This novel is inspired by the Chinese Danmei novels. In the continent of Tiandi humans lived amongst beasts, demons, and spirits. Here warriors were as common as the clouds in the sky, and each expert could either cultivate their inner energy known as Qi, or their soul, to form Spiritual Energy. In the village of Jinwei, Luo Xiao grew up like a beautiful bird locked in a cage. He was weak from birth and unable to leave his bed for an extended period of time, yet his beauty made him well-liked amongst the villagers. One day disaster struck the village of Jinwei. A Corpse Puppet appeared wanting to eradicate all life. A seal was unlocked, and soon the Corpse Puppet was dead under the hand of the sickly Luo Xiao, but this was not the end of his misfortune. Right when he thought that the end was coming, a man as handsome as a god descended to the mundane world and took him away. For the sake of revenge, Luo Xiao sold his soul to this handsome man, but is it only his soul that this alluring stranger took from him?

Intrigues and selfish desires alleviated their strength, but to navigate through these schemes one needs an astute mind and a ruthless personality. Luo Xiao appeared in Cloudsoar City together with Jiang Yao, ready to experience what big city life was like, only to realize that not everything that shine was gold. Attending the Cloudsoar Royal Academy, Luo Xiao finds himself caught up in the fight for the throne, he finds people who wish to use him for their own benefits, but amongst these people, he also finds warmth and friendship. Slowly he understands that if he wishes to be by Jiang Yao's side he cannot stay as a silent and naive young man. However, will the change in his personality be for the better or for the worse?
