Chimeras... Created as weapons but no one expected them to want revenge. For the first time in his life, Mutter's afraid. Afraid of the shots his new master is giving him. Afraid of what they are turning him into. He’s faster, stronger and hungry. Always hungry. Ravenous for meat. Bloody and raw. Afraid that if he doesn’t escape, he’ll become food for one of the creatures in the nearby cages or worse...he'll become one of them.
- Feeding Fersia
2
When things turn deadly, who will she choose her friend or her lover? Fersia can't wait to start her new job in the laboratory. It'll be the perfect way to rekindle her relationship with Jocko. But there are strange things going on at the lab. Like odd noises coming from behind locked doors. Growls and cries but they don't sound like any animal she's ever heard. And why do the two of them have to stay locked in a cage? Sure, there's a bed and furniture but it's still a cage. On top of that, the shots they're made to take are making Jocko sick but they're making her hungry. Starving. Ravenous for meat. When Jocko starts his metamorphosis should she stay or escape before it's too late?
- Breaking the Brush Men
3
If you like Twilight Zone and Tales From the Crypt, then you'll love this series. It's dark, disturbing and excellent. Being born on Level Five is even more dangerous than being created there. The society that rose from the destruction of the Great Death is a class system. Almightys have absolute control over the other classes. Professor Conguise and his scientists take it to another level, by creating hybrids from the lower classes – creatures that are enhanced with DNA from other species. Glick is one of those creatures except he wasn’t modified; he was born that way. He has no idea why everyone wants him and his friends dead, but from the moment he crawled from the earth death surrounded him. His enemies have tried poison, brute force and starvation, but Glick and his friends are determined to survive. They have the will and they have each other. They don’t need anything else…except food. They really, really need food, but there's nothing but dead earth in their cage. How will the four friends find food and survive when everything on Level Five is trying to kill them?
- Rage of Rattus Norvegicus
4
Welcome to Level Five where chimeras are created but never controlled. Being purchased and brought to Professor Conguise’s laboratory is never good, but it’s even worse when you arrive with your younger brother and sister. Rufus has been taking care of Prin and Lee for most of his life. They’re all he has and he’s all they’ve got too. Maybe, he should be thankful for having a warm, dry place to sleep at night. The food’s good too, but the smells and sounds…It’s enough to make him miss the streets. Something’s not right with this place and the shots they’re being given more than hurt. He can feel them changing him, cell by cell. He needs to get them all out of there and fast. Prin’s pregnant and none of them have any idea what these shots are going to do to her baby.

L. S. O'Dea
L. S. O’Dea sees things a bit differently than most people. This is probably a bi-product of being the youngest of seven children in a time when TV was only worth watching in the evenings or Saturday mornings and there were no computers. Back then, kids had to amuse themselves and being five years younger than her closest sibling she was often the unwilling entertainment. One day, before she started kindergarten, she really wanted to learn how to spell her name (Linda Sue). Her mother was busy so her brothers were told to help their baby sister. When they were done, she raced into the kitchen to show her mother what she’d learned. She stood tall and recited the letters of her name. L-E-M-O-N H-E-A-D.To this day, she still receives a box of Lemonhead candy every year for Christmas.
