About this series
I know what I want, I have always known exactly what I want - grace, beauty, silence, a demure and exquisitely trained submissive within the privacy of my own home.
I don't want rowdy, I don't want drama - I have enough of that in my work - I don't want somebody out of control, particularly not now when I am defending a close friend on a trumped up murder charge.
Clearly, we don't always get what we want because I cannot for the life of me fathom why I have taken on this chaotic, complicated, train wreck of a young man at this point, or indeed ever.
All I can think is it was those beautiful, liquid dark eyes staring at me through the bars of the drunk tank. He still smelled of liquor, he looked like he had slept in an alley, but those eyes, they said, "Stop me, before it's too late."
And the urbane, sophisticated, high protocol dominant inside me, to my everlasting surprise, replied, "As you wish."
Now we have a deal, this boy and I, he stays sober, he learns to kneel for me, and I will be the solid ground he can stand on while he gets his life back together.
I suppose I should tell him I don't tolerate failure either. Never mind, he'll find that out.
Can you stop me? Is Book 3 in The Outreach Series, it is an opposites attract gay romance with a straight laced dominant right out of Victorian drama and a brattish submissive who drinks to drown out his desires.

Josh needs a Dom. Mal needs an education. Could this be mutually beneficial? This is The Outreach, where the kink curious can have their desires analysed, their cravings explained, and if they are lucky, find the right kind of someone to meet their needs. It's brand new and causing waves, politically and socially. Some see it as a green light for deviancy, for others it's their last chance to understand why they want the things they want. MAL When my boss sent me on this assignment I thought I was writing a fluff piece, a sly little dig at the newest psychobabble trend to hitch itself to the "discover yourself" gravy train. I was wrong. It seems these guys actually know what they are talking about, and what they are saying is resonating inside me on a primal level. It's making me feel all kinds of stupid about how I've played in the past, and all kinds of fascinated for how to scene in the future. I'm revising this story, and I'm going to learn everything The Outreach has to offer. JOSH I'm not doing so great. I've not been doing great for a long time. It's easy to blame it on my service, to be that PTSD veteran, but it's more than that. There is this need inside me that I never explored and then the trauma denied me the freedom to even consider it. I don't know if this Outreach thing can help me, but with their science and their skills they can tell me the kind of man I could have been, the kind of love I could have had, and there is some comfort in that. I might be too old and too damaged to ever truly experience my desires, but I want to know, just for myself, just for the record, which way I am tilted. Two very different men, two very different reasons to be where they are, but The Outreach will bring them together and help them see themselves and each other. Can You See Me? is the first book in the Outreach Series, set in the same universe as Romilly King's Delphic Agency Series of gay romance novels - It brings back favourite characters from Delphic and is a slow burn romance with realistic kink exploration, themes of hurt and comfort, a dom who thought he knew it all, and a damaged sub who is too ashamed to kneel. There will be a happy ever after.

"Before you ask, he can't speak, and before you try it, we're never separated." Those are the first words Trent says to every new person thrust into his and Micah's life. Not everyone listens. So far this place is different. There has been a warm bed and soft clothes. There's filling food and, blessings indeed, a hot shower. For once he is clean, and Micah, when he curls around him, doesn't smell like dirt and sweat and tears. Trent thinks this must be limbo, but a nice one, not like the one they were expecting. He's not going to assume it will last, but he'll take it while he can, get his strength back to face the next threat thrown at them. They've heard a lot of promises, Trent and Micah, but the serious man with the sad eyes insists he's going to fight for them, so they can stay together, and he says that nothing that has happened so far was their fault. Trent finds that difficult to believe. Nobody has said that before, because it has always been their fault, right from the start. Can you reach us? The Outreach Series, Book 2 is a hurt/comfort age gap gay romance by Romilly King, author of the Delphic Agency and Handled Series. It features a grieving Daddy dom who needs to let himself act on his instincts, and two traumatised young men who are desperate to be cared for. Trigger warning for adult scenes, abusive behaviour, homophobic language, and depression
