About this series
Yes, Isis and Osiris had become a unit, but the next challenges awaited them. Trying to master the interesting dynamic of "give and take" was a complex process that at first was confusing. Like the two sides of a coin, they learned to recognize each other's warning signs, emotions and signals. It was not easy to stay independent, yet to be connected at all times.
Isis and Osiris complemented each other with different interests, talents and preferences in a very special way. Sometimes, their mirrored and shared experience made it difficult to know who they belonged to. Cultivating understanding and love became vital. Making the most of these opposing forces, themselves as individuals and in duality of purpose, they learned to find common ground again and again. It felt like being gently guided for the highest good in a strengthening and inspiring way.
It was not always easy to live such an extremely intense relationship, especially over the distance. Despite the sense of wholeness, there was a permanent potential for conflict, which could only be mastered by embracing the yin yang duality that both parties contributed. That also showed in their continued exchange of poems like silver ribbons woven to ease the tension of being drawn into different directions. Once again, Isis and Osiris had turned their disadvantages into beautiful blossoms of the magical Twin Flower they had become…

We tend to say that "time flew by", but is it true? Maybe we are the ones, flying through the space-time continuum, or maybe that was what Isis and Osiris experienced with all their exchanged poems. Winter went on mercilessly. Still, they could not be together. Time had taught them patience, understanding even for their special situation. Grief and pain had been replaced by helping each other - not just to get through the day, but to celebrate every minute as precious. Despite the raging seas between them, Isis and Osiris were able to strengthen their bond. Sorting out misunderstandings; letting go of old patterns; they built an invisible house of Poetry, while night and day their Sea of Love was gently "…lapping with low sounds by the shore", as W. B. Yeats once put it so perfectly in his beautiful poem - The Lake Isle of Innisfree. Isis and Osiris would not call themselves experts, when it comes to the phenomenon of Twin Flames, aside from their own unique connection. Not giving up though, they found ways to cope with the situation by not pining over things that cannot be: at least not yet. Modern techniques made it possible - what 100 years ago would have been just a fiction - to communicate over 900 miles in real time. Sometimes we tend to take these things for granted. To talk, while looking into each other's eyes, seeing wisdom and pure eternal love reflecting back, made a big difference. So, their journey goes on…

The Mystery Of A Twin Flame Reunion: The need of control… No matter how old we get, - there is still so much to learn in life. One of the hardest lessons, Isis and Osiris had to learn, was the one about control. Now, that they had found each other, it should have been easy to control the divine process of their Twin Flame reunion, or so they thought. Of course, the opposite happened. Controlling one's own attitudes and activities is one thing, but there is a borderline, when it comes to the core of a Twin Soul connection. In the beginning, it was hard to resist the temptation of wanting to know and controlling everything going on in each other's lives. But these moments passed, when their true selves overcame the struggling ego. Thus, by leaving behind past behaviours, they broke patterns that did not fit anymore. Acceptance was the keyword, as well as unconditional, unwavering love, not just for the Twin, but for themselves and other people. It was a kind of surrender, - ending in victory. In not just learning one's own lessons, but embracing them as a natural and necessary process for the spirit's development, Isis and Osiris became truly a unit. Still, they lived apart many a mile. Interestingly, it hurt less, because each had become aware of being an intrinsic part of the other one. In having learned to be patient and to trust each other and their destiny, they felt free and bonded at the same time. So, handing over the control to the Universe wasn't that hard. Just try it yourself…

ISIS
Isis grew up as the third child with loving parents who have been dedicated teachers. One could say that the love for prose and poetry runs in the family. Her father liked to memorize and recite poems, while her mother often thought up stories and used to read novels quite a lot. As soon as she could read, Isis had developed into a real bookworm. Since her love of poetry had rubbed off from her father, she wrote her first poem at the age of 8, which won a prize in the school competition. It was inspired by the wonderful painting "The Singing Boys" by Frans Hals. Just like her mother, Isis often made up stories as a child. Also, she loved to write long letters to her friends. Since graduating with a degree in industrial engineering in 1986, Isis has been working as an IT application support manager. It was not until the age of 53 that Isis continued writing poetry and prose, inspired by encounters with other poets. Isis is also the author of the books "Prism of Solitude", "Magie der Introversion" and the "Twin Flame Poetry" series.
