      CoDee hopes to keep the kitty alive. CoDee, a brain damaged young man, lives on a dusty, dirty desert world. The junk yard he lives in belongs to CoDee. He hates it when dead animals get dumped in the yard. He says it "hurts his heart" to deal with them.      The world he lives on caters to the older, poorer freighters and trading ships.
