Scotty is a sweet little dog who finds himself lost in the Florida panhandle. He is found by a stranger and brought to a local animal shelter. He is shuffled from shelter to shelter across the state of Florida until he lands in Seminole. A volunteer photographer went to a pet adoption event to take pictures and help place dogs in forever homes.

I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I have adopted many dogs as well as found loving homes for several others. I have taken many trips to animal shelters all over the southeast. I've never met a dog I didn't like. My husband found out the hard way as I seem to collect them. He nicknamed me, Ellie Mae! I adopted a little dog named Scotty, who has a very BIG personality. Like me, he has a zest for life. He loves meeting new people and going on adventures. He might just be the most perfect dog I have ever adopted! I enjoy writing childrens books, featuring Scotty the Rescue Dog, so that young children can read along and enjoy his adventures too!
