1
Ash is a young boy with apparent past-life memories who lives in a remote, deserted village. As he remembers leading a bountiful life, he can’t bear living in a world akin to the Dark Ages, where not even the internal combustion engine exists. Ash envisions the rebirth of a civilization where housing with proper sanitation is the norm and the world is connected via a means of transportation faster than horses. For that reason, he is eager to consult books containing knowledge from a highly-developed ancient culture that is rumored to have existed far in the past. Ash makes use of the church’s resources, learning how to read and obtaining the knowledge that he seeks. In addition, he enlists the help of the people around him, including Maika, the village chief’s daughter. Together, they aim to develop their own village. This is only the beginning of the story about a young boy who sets out to revolutionize the world in order to rebuild civilization and create his ideal life!

Aided by his past-life memories, Ash went through strenuous efforts at his village to recreate the convenient and bountiful life recorded in the legends of the ancient civilization in this world. As a result, he obtained the right to study alongside Maika in Itsutsu city, where a vast collection of unseen books awaits him. At his arrival, Ash is welcomed by the acting count Itsuki, as well as a girl disguised as the former’s younger brother, Arthur. But more importantly, he is faced with the disappointing reality of the city’s lacking resources and outdated technology. Ash enlists Maika and Arthur to change that reality. They start by trying to figure out a way to use some supposedly poisonous crops and repurpose the dangerous compost. Meanwhile, the “demons” responsible for the decline of humanity are lurking in the shadows. This is the second chapter of the story about a young boy who sets out to revolutionize the world in order to rebuild civilization and create his ideal life!

Ash, who is studying in Itsutsu city to revive the convenient and plentiful life from the legends of the ancient civilization, managed to successfully produce compost and reintroduce tomatoes as an officially accepted edible food. After recovering from his fight with the werewolf, he once again aims to further improve the living standards of the city! Amidst all that, his fellow student Hermes is mocked for crafting a model airplane and daring to dream of soaring through the skies. In a world without the internal combustion engine, let alone cars, such ambitions only provoke laughter amongst his classmates, but Hermes persists. Deeply impressed by Hermes’ passion for flying, and slightly motivated by self-interest, Ash decides to help him revive aeronautical technology. He is determined to have the last laugh. This is the third chapter of the story about a young boy who sets out to revolutionize the world in order to rebuild civilization and create his ideal life!

He is now assigned to the newly established Territory Reform Promotion Office, where he works hard to improve this world’s living standards. When it is brought to Ash’s attention that Ajole, the hometown of his co-worker Renge’s childhood friend, is on the verge of extinction, he decides to embark on a rescue mission. The inspection task force led by Ash and Maika encounters barren fields and skinny villagers. It appears that they have no choice but to break the taboo and use animal manure as compost. To make matters worse, there is news of another threat to the village: the demons known as treants! Can Ash find a way to save the village? This is the fourth chapter of the story about a young boy who sets out to revolutionize the world in order to rebuild civilization and create his ideal life!

It’s the same tournament that was once won by her father, Klein, who used his victory to ask for Yuika’s hand in marriage! Thus, Maika prepares to put on a legendary performance in the name of love! This is the fifth chapter of the story about a young boy who sets out to revolutionize the world in order to rebuild civilization and create his ideal life!
