About this series
All things must come to an end—even sixth grade. But not all things end happily, and it looks as if Pleskit Meenom’s year as a sixth-grade alien is about to end in catastrophe as Earth is swept by rumors of alien abductions. Soon anti-alien demonstrations erupt outside Pleskit’s school.
Who is behind the rumors? Is there really a secret enemy on the embassy staff? What happens if the mission fails?
When Pleskit disappears, those questions take on new urgency. Desperate to answer them, Pleskit’s friends Tim and Rafaella are forced to team up with Tim’s old enemy, Jordan Lynch, to save the mission...and Earth!

He’s also feuding with his best friend, Tim. And someone is leaking stories about him to the press. Sixth grade is turning out to be an even bigger challenge than interplanetary navigation. But if Pleskit can’t find that missing brain, none of those other problems will matter. Because how do you explain that you’ve lost your grandfather? And Pleskit may not be the only one looking for him…
- Sixth-Grade Alien
Fellow sixth graders, an alien and a human, become unlikely friends in this hilarious, fast-paced, and accessible first book in the sci-fi series Sixth-Grade Alien from the bestselling author of Aliens Ate My Homework, Bruce Coville. Sixth grade can be tough. But starting sixth grade as the only alien on the planet seems impossible. When Pleskit Meenom, the son of the first alien ambassador to earth, finds out he’s going to public school, he’s less than thrilled. Especially after what happened on their last planet. Tim Tompkins, on the other hand, couldn’t be more excited to meet a real alien—even if some of his classmates are warier of the first purple kid in their class. Tim is determined to befriend Pleskit and secretly hopes he may have finally found someone who feels as out of place as he does. But when angry mobs, cultural differences, and intergalactic plots get in the way, their friendship—and maybe even the planet—could be in danger.
- I Shrank My Teacher
Pleskit and Tim’s plan to prank a bully goes horribly awry in this second book of the hilarious, fast-paced, and accessible sci-fi series Sixth-Grade Alien from the bestselling author of Aliens Ate My Homework, Bruce Coville. All Pleskit Meenom wants to do is fit in on his new planet. But bullies like his classmate Jordan Lynch make it clear he never will. Not even taking a trip to the mall and getting some Earth-style clothing is enough to stop Jordan’s teasing or blend in at school. After one dig too many from Pleskit’s bully, Pleskit and his best friend Tim decide to teach Jordan a lesson. So they borrow a shrinking ray from the embassy. Shrinking rays are tricky machines, and this one turns out to be more than the boys can handle. Instead of cutting a mean kid down to size, they end up making Tim and their teacher Ms. Weintraub no bigger than a pair of pencils! If word gets out of this misuse of alien technology, it could ruin Pleskit’s mission. But how can you hide the fact that you’ve shrunk your teacher?
- Lunch Swap Disaster
Pleskit and Tim swap lunches, leading to unforeseen consequences in this fourth book of the hilarious, fast-paced, and accessible sci-fi series Sixth-Grade Alien from the bestselling author of Aliens Ate My Homework, Bruce Coville. When Tim has a peanut butter sandwich packed yet again, he and Pleskit decide to swap lunches. Tim is pleasantly surprised to find that while Pleskit’s squambul smells terrible, it tastes like chicken. But Pleskit has an altogether different experience when he eats peanut butter for the first time. Turns out, he’s allergic! And Pleskit’s reaction can’t be solved by a trip to the nurse’s office—he is absolutely, hopelessly lovestruck! Not in his right mind, Pleskit quickly gets into trouble. If he doesn’t find a way to fix things, he may have to find a new school—or a new planet!
- Zombies of the Science Fair
Pleskit and Tim’s last-minute project for the science fair leads to disaster in this fifth book in the hilarious, fast-paced, and accessible sci-fi series Sixth-Grade Alien from the bestselling author of Aliens Ate My Homework, Bruce Coville. It’s science fair time again, and Tim Tomkins is in trouble. It’s only two days until the big event, and he hasn’t finished his project! In fact, he hasn’t even started it. Given Tim’s track record with homework, this is no big surprise. But this year Tim has a new resource—his alien best friend, Pleskit Meenom! Surely with his super science Pleskit can help Tim come up with a knockout project for the science fair. Pleskit makes his own science project out of helping Tim, but his solution turns out to have side effects that not even an alien could have expected! Soon Pleskit is left desperately trying to answer the question, “What do you do when you’ve just amputated your best friend’s personality?”

So when Jordan accuses Pleskit of lying about his Veeblax’s abilities, Pleskit decides take his pet to class—without asking parental permission. Bringing the Veeblax to school turns out to be a bigger mistake than Pleskit ever thought possible when it frightens his classmate Misty, causing an intergalactic incident. As the situation spins out of control, it becomes clear that Pleskit may lose his pet, his teacher may lose her job, and Earth may lose the benefits of the alien connection. Running away may be the only way for Pleskit to save the his pet. But where can you hide when you’re the only purple kid on the planet? Tim discovers the truth of those words when he meets a two-foot-tall alien, Beebo, who is stranded and desperately wants to get back to his own planet. Unfortunately, Beebo’s presence on Earth could cause a diplomatic disaster. So Pleskit can’t ask his Fatherly One for help. And help is what the boys need, because Beebo can’t resist using his powers to cause chaos in the classroom and havoc at home. Pleskit and Tim have faced plenty of alien menaces.
