About this series

HELP ME!!! What do I do to stay jazzed while working with all the day-after-day tasks of writing, then, jumping through the new hoops of endless market chores? How do I care for and provide and nurture the fun of the writer's life?

This marketing thing is a mess. I didn't ever want to be a business

person. If I watch episodes of The Office, I feel like I will throw up.

All the great talent: Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, Rainn Wilson, Steve Carell, etc, really do pull off a terrifying mockumentary of how lame and pathetic the world of so-called business-people really is and how the trenches of so-called business squash the life out of all support people.

The whole thought of so-called business-people is so disgusting with its authority over a group of employees: pathetic ego trips; gross sexual come-ons; and in the end, boredom so overwhelming that life has become hell on earth. Am I going to become that by being my own publisher?

The first thing is that the Info about the Indie writer's life is scattered all over the net. With all grotesque business-types doing in-your-face, pathetic pop-ups . . . well, you've seen it all . . . how do I tell what's FAKE NEWS: build your social media platform for years before I start; I can't market my books without a huge budget; I've got to have a copyright, ISBN numbers, bar codes and all that . . .

With all this crap to wade through, just like The Office, how do I keep my writer alive, jazzed and completely inspired? The Zen Of Keeping My Writer Inspired SLASHES THROUGH all that FAKE NEWS fast!!!

WHY READ THE ZEN OF KEEPING MY WRITER INSPIRED?

Very often writers ". . . are deluded. They're always longing for something . . . always seeking . . . . But the wise wake up. They choose reason over custom. They fix their minds on the sublime and let their bodies change with the seasons. All phenomena are empty. They contain nothing worth desiring."

YOUR BOOK WILL FADE AWAY Within the month it will be lost! A robust book launch is a requirement for saving it!!! Without blasting off with a well-executed plan, your new book—that you have worked so hard to produce—will dissolve into the nothingness of the of the Amazon Matrix within the month! If I Get to #1 on the Amazon Bestseller List am I home free? No, your book and your brand as a writer will fall down the rabbit-hole just like Alice; If you are not precise with your launch; if you are not diligent about your post-launch marketing and are not publishing your new books on a regular basis. The rabbit-hole is the immense Amazon Database. It is very easy to slip off into oblivion. When that happens, you will never appear on the first page of Amazon Search. And without being on the 1st page people will not buy your book. It's that simple. But, how do you know? In a month? That sounds like it's a bit much. I mean this whole rabbit-hole thing. Where did you get this information? We know because we have tested. We have used our own, solid footing press books to watch what really happens. We published without a powerful launch just to observe real-world. A great title with a beautiful cover, with no real marketing dropped to 3.5 million in Amazon Ranking within a month.
