In this third volume of the New Persia series, the captured ayatollah is held for trial and found guilty. One of his terrorist ship's crew, held captive by the U.S. federal authorities in Alaska, is rescued in a daring raid and the ayatollah, enroute to a super-max prison in Colorado, is also rescued by New Persia Commandos in an exciting and remarkable bit of action. Retired Navy SEAL and diver, Ryan McKenzie, who captured the ayatollah in his Socotra Island compound for the U.S., is attacked in his home by New Persia men in an act of revenge. Since the untenable New Persia demands are not being met, a series of attacks by New Persia on the U.S. oil industry occurs. To force the president to attend a meeting, the president's secretary and his activity scheduler, Ryan's lover Jackie Conover, are kidnapped and held under threat. A meeting is held, under coercion, between the ayatollah and the president and, after the failure of the meeting intent, an attempt is made to shoot down the president's aircraft. A very angry McKenzie, wanting to go after the ayatollah and his organization, presents a plan of action but is rejected by the president. The mystery deepens as he learns that no one knows where the ayatollah is. Out of self-defense, Ryan decides to personally take on the New Persia group. While Ryan and his friends are preparing to find and eliminate the ayatollah and his henchmen in the Indian Ocean, the president decides to go after these criminals in a big way. A small invasion of the ayatollah's compound by U.S. Navy SEALs, with Ryan's help, destroys the New Persia facilities and a primary ayatollah staffer is killed. In an exciting climax, the ayatollah and his primary assistant, Ramiz, make an underwater run for it from an American submarine. But do the Americans get the ayatollah and Ramiz??

Volume I, Approx 330 pages DiVersion It was a quiet life for retired Navy Commander, and SEAL, Ryan McKenzie enjoying his Hunter sail boat, until he sees a mysterious underwater craft in the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. After seeing this mysterious craft, he is surprised and attacked by a foreign yacht and nearly killed – his sailboat destroyed miles from the nearest coastline. After a series of events, he is summoned to Washington D.C. to help in solving a vexatious problem. A middle-east terrorist is disrupting oil well production in the Gulf and the mysterious vessel he saw may be connected to those disruptions. Working for the US president, and with assistance from several government agencies, they lay out a course of action. As events unfold, he and his partners find a problem on one of the oil wells and he is, nearly killed in the depths of the Gulf. Subsequent events lead to the capture of a key terrorist and his highly capable mission yacht but at a high personnel cost by the US Coast Guard. Ryan is attacked in his own home by a terrorist but survives. Presidential support aircraft are attacked and some are destroyed. In concert with a very incensed president, and members of his staff, a plan is developed which leads to a final climax of action in the deserts of eastern Iran.

In this second volume in the New Persia series, the ayatollah and several of his immediate staff have survived the bombing of their stronghold in the eastern deserts if Iran. They disappear and only after a strenuous effort are finally located on the lonely island of Socotra just off the eastern coast of Africa. The ayatollah, still seeing his demands being ignored by the western world, attacks the U.S. oil industry in Alaska and attempts to down the Homeland Secretary's aircraft. Back home a kidnaping attempt is made on retired Navy SEAL Ryan McKenzie's girlfriend, Jackie, and a nighttime attack on Ryan and Jackie that do not succeed but set in motion additional efforts to capture, and or kill, the ayatollah. Ryan and his friends are sent by the president to verify the ayatollah's location and determine what he is up to. A series of events occur and Ryan and crew are captred by the ayatollah and his New Persia cohorts. They have an adventurous escape via a commandeered armed yacht, are forced into a mini-submarine, and finally retake the yacht from the terrorists. In a suspense filled final effort, Ryan and friends capture he ayatollah in the darkness of an Indian Ocean night and bring him back to the U.S. for trial.
