Sie kann nicht erklären, die ruhig in ihren Kopf und sie kümmert sich nicht, was die Ursache für die Es ist, denn sie ist nun das Leben in völliger Glückseligkeit. Glückseligkeit, bis Sie wütend in der Liebe fällt mit einem Ihrer Mitbewohner. Jax will die Gefühle wieder und haben eine Beziehung mit dem Mädchen, das er schon weiss, ist seine soulmate, aber er will nicht, dass Sie in seine Welt zu bringen. Es bringt ihn zu seinem Abstand von Skye zu halten, aber er denkt, dass es für Ihre eigene Sicherheit. Und vielleicht ist es. Skyler has lived a tortured existence. Her head was always filled with other's thoughts, and she could feel everyone surrounding her emotions. That is until she moves into a share house with three others. She can't explain the quiet in her head and she doesn't care what the cause for it is because she is now living in utter bliss. Bliss until she falls madly in love with one of her roommates. Jax wants to return the feelings and have a relationship with the girl he already knows is his soulmate, but he doesn't want to bring her into his world. It's killing him to have to keep his distance from Skye, but he thinks it's for her own safety. And maybe it is. She knows she's different, but she has to find the courage to let the others in on her secret, in a bid to find out more about herself and her father that was killed when she was only a young girl.

Skyler and Jaxon are finally happy, that is until his ex-fiance Koby threatens to kill everyone Skyler cares for. She must leave her soulmate behind in order to keep him safe. Phillip, the head of the vampire council helps keep her hidden from Jaxon, Lila and Albie. Skyler doesn't cope being without the other half of her soul. Her mind begins to play tricks on her, telling her that she should give up and die, so that became her mission, she would try to kill herself, but her fae body won't let her.

Jaxon and Skye have finally left Carson Manor, but life isn't quiet for long. It never is. Now that Skyler is a Vampire, she spends her days and nights adjusting to her new life and abilities and trying to control her blood-lust with her husband's help, but soon enough, a rogue who threatens to out the entire supernatural species, takes Jax away and Skye is left to deal with a ghost. A ghost that shouldn't be able to come to her now that she is no longer fae.

Jaxon & Skyler are back and as usual, living as a vampire isn’t easy, but they do what they can to make it work. With Lila & Pete’s wedding about to take place, all hell breaks loose causing Jax & Skye to be ripped apart. Will they be able to find one another, or are they doomed to live a life of solitude?
