About this series
Most golfers talk a great deal about the importance of a solid “mental” game, yet few have the skills in place to remain focused and calm when emotions are running high and performance hits the wall. We remain in a good mood until we hit a few bad shots, only to have negative thoughts and emotions overpower both us and our games. What we often fail to realize is that nothing in our external “reality” appears outside what we have first given our attention – and really our permission – to , making the reframing of our limiting and sabotaging beliefs the most important inner work that any of us can ever do. This book, the third in the “Thoughts of the Day” trilogy from Tim N. Kremer, M.A. and Spirit of Golf, is a continued compilation of our favorite thoughts that are read by thousands throughout the world every day. We are exceptionally pleased to illustrate this book with the unique and critically-acclaimed "Amy Lourie Spirit of Golf Fine Art Collection," featuring the artwork of Amy Lourie, PGA.

- Spirit of Golf -Thoughts of the Day: The Book
1
The real shift in improving athletic performance, or for that matter any aspect of our lives, comes as we journey into the inner stillness of the unknown. We go beyond the conditioned limitations of a fragile, reactive egoic mind; beyond the stubbornness and fear of what we think we already know. At the point where the unknown becomes our friend, a transformation begins to occur. We feel a heartfelt sincerity that the wonderful is not only possible, but well on its way. Things beyond what we dream of suddenly begin to appear in our lives. As we master the inner journey, things outside of us fall effortlessly into place. We come to observe and know the intimate connection between these two beautiful games, golf and life, the essence of which are one in the same. This book, the first from Spirit of Golf, is a compilation of our favorite Thoughts of the Day read by thousands through emails and on our website every day. Our hope is that each thought will allow you to deepen your journey on the golf course and in the course of life; moment by precious moment and one special shot at a time.
- Spirit of Golf -Thoughts of the Day: Book 2
2
One of the most basic principles in our lives that becomes important to understand is that we cannot have anything until we first imagine it in the mind. This is as true with a golf shot as it is with anything else. It is ultimately how we internally activate an experience through thought and imagination that either brings it closer to us or pushes it further away. Simply stated, we can’t want something and doubt we’ll get it and hope to attract it into our lives. Likewise, we can’t want something and believe in it and not have it appear. Since 1999, Spirit of Golf has grown into a leader in the relatively new field of “Conscious Athletics,” offering an innovative approach in golf instruction and peak athletic performance through the power of the mind. This book, the second from Spirit of Golf, is a continued compilation of our favorite Thoughts of the Day (read globally by thousands each day), offering inspiration and insight into the games of athletics and life, each of which ultimately becomes one in the same.
