About this series

When a plane crashes fifty years in the future, the survivors learn:
1. Nuclear war destroyed the world they knew.
2. Plague has reduced the female population to a pitiful few and every woman is worth her weight in gold.
3. Werewolves are more than mere legend and they want mates.

Connie Mondale, co-pilot of the plane, has no intention of being forced into marriage, thank you very much. A former fighter pilot, she’s accustomed to being in charge. But leading two dozen undisciplined women is harder than flying missions over Iraq and Afghanistan. Scarier, too, with woman-hungry men outnumbering them two hundred to one, and demanding marriage. When Des, the grim-faced werewolf who is always there for her, offers to share the load, how can she refuse?

Des Wolfe knows Connie is his mate. When she refused him, he tried to settle for being her friend. But when an opportunity comes to have her for his own, he grabs it with both hands, determined to have her love. If that means taking on a whole house full of women and making them his Pack, he’ll do it. There is no price too high for Des to pay to have Connie for his mate.

Can Connie give her heart to a werewolf, or will Des have to settle for only her body in his bed?

Strong, independent Tami was a survivalist and mountain guide in 2014 when she was flung forward fifty years into a post-apocalyptic future where women are rare and worth their weight in gold. She is taken by four men to be their wife, but when she escapes from them they hire the Tracker, a deadly loner from the Lakota Wolf Clan with a reputation for being able to track anything, to bring her back. But Tami knows how to ride and how to hide, and she leads him on a chase that rouses his admiration. Behind Tracker's stone-cold face is a man who yearns for a wife of his own. Tami's scent rouses something dangerous within him. When he catches up with her and learns that she is not a willing wife, he knows he can't give her up. He takes her to his cousin's pack for safekeeping. Circumstances force Tami to choose a husband. There are dozens of men who would jump at the chance to marry her. Tracker is the only man she can tolerate. Tracker accepts her proposal, knowing it will take time and effort to turn this marriage of convenience into a love match, but he's the Tracker. A man who tracks prey is patient. He knows when to be still and when to pounce. One of Tami's rejected suitors, a powerful man with an army of cowboys, wants her back and vows to burn the den down to get her. Can Tracker keep the woman he loves? Or will the pack be destroyed trying to protect her?

Lobo's Mate: After the Crash, #4.5

Gen survived a horrific plane crash that sent her to a future where women were rare and technology is only a memory. When her protector dies, she is pressured to choose a local man to marry. As a thirty-seven year old vet tech who has always made her own choices, she hates the idea of a forced marriage. But since she is the only woman in a hundred miles, what choice does she have? Pretending to be a witch won't keep the local men at bay for long.   The man who calls himself Lobo is a loner who values his kin in the Lakota Wolf Clan and loves one thing: his Beagle. When his dog gets sick, he will do anything to find her help. He hears of a beautiful witch woman who can cure animals. When he goes to see her, he learns 3 things: She can help the Beagle, she was on the plane from the Times Before, and most shockingly, she is his mate.   Gen thought she was the only survivor of the plane crash. Lobo offers to take her to his cousin's pack where other women from 2014 live. Is this the escape she'd hoped for? Lobo loves his dog, so he can't be all bad, but he says he is a werewolf and she's his mate. What's a strong, independent woman stuck in a world where women are commodities to do?   This 31,000 word novella was written as a thank you to my readers who encouraged me during my cancer fight. It is not the best place to start the After the Crash series. The series begins with Sleeping With the Wolf. Lobo's Mate takes place between Eddie's Prize and Ellie's Wolf.

Wolf's Lady (After the Crash #6.5): After the Crash

A hunky Native American wolf shifter who has never kissed a woman is hunting for a mate. A curvaceous lady of experience is looking for one special man to settle down with. Can they find a way to live happily ever after? In the year 2070, there are no cool advanced technical gadgets or weapons. In fact, most people are living like it's the American frontier all over again. Terrorists used nuclear devices to simultaneously destroy most major US cities, as well as major cities in other countries. With the huge loss of life, the infrastructure crumbled. Hospitals and rescue services were so overwhelmed that they failed. The terrorists also released a virus that later came to be known as the Woman Killer Plague. It killed both men and women but more women died, making females valuable commodities. This is the world of Sand Wolfe, a lonely bachelor of the Lakota Wolf Clan, and Miss Amanda, the woman his wolf claims as their mate. Sand goes to Omaha to work as muscle in his cousin Sky's whorehouse. There he meets his mate, Miss Amanda, who also works in Sky's House, although in a very different position. She is the only woman his wolf will allow him to have, and she's the only woman he wants. He will do anything to convince her to accept his mate claim. Can a businesswoman leave her glamorous life and settle down in a wolf den? Amanda finds Sand's methods of persuasion very persuasive. But will the men of Omaha allow her to leave? Sand figures he might have to kill a few of her clients, but it's a small price to pay to bring his mate home. Although this story takes place later than other books in the series, it is meant to stand alone.
