About this series
Still mourning the loss of their dear friend, Mikaen's team returns to Rimstak. Their goals: find the Controller, discover the Truth about the Raenqal, and foil the plans of Liegan and the Revs.
Meanwhile, Narrator Number Two is hot (well, lukewarm) on the trail of discovering the true identity of Liegan. With the aid of a maddening Dreamer and a member of the Rimstak Security Force's finest, he won't stop until he finds out which of the Elsewhere Dreamers, past or present, is responsible for messing with his best friend.
A shaken One continues to try his best to help his friends, but will it be enough to make a difference with everything going out of control?

Sometimes a Dreamer just can't get a break. One thought he had finished with Mikaen and company and finally earned a vacation. Unfortunately, a favor done for an old friend leaves One right back where he started. Now One's going along with Mikaen's team to investigate the technological superpower of Ronisgald, an underground country controlled by the Artificial Intelligence of a long-dead civilization. It won't be easy; to uncover the truth about Ronisgald, One will come face to face with supervillains, mad emperors, the Ronisgald Security Force, and the rest of the Dreamers. Still, it's all in day's work for a member of the Elsewhere Incorporate, right?
- A Dreamer's Knight
After twenty years of averting planetary disasters in the mainstream and fighting nightmares in the dream realm, the Dreamer known as Narrator Number One slips off to the distant world of Vinta for a well-earned vacation. When a knight from post-apocalyptic Earth falls out of the sky, One decides to delay his vacation long enough to lend a hand. This small task turns out to be far from simple, however; in his attempts to help the wayward knight, One finds himself face-to-face with metal dragons, sinister monks, kidnapped royalty, old girlfriends, massive war machines, and more Dreamers than he could shake his Anti-ka Maru at. Still, he’s more than prepared to bend the fabric of dreams and reality to help his new friend. After all, it’s just one little assignment ... right?
- Flights of Fancy
The mission to Ronisgald was a success, even if it left Mikaen and his friends stranded. With their vessel damaged and Narrator Number One's ability to alter reality temporarily lost, there is little that they can do. Fortunately for them, rescue is just on the horizon, and not a moment too soon; Liegan and his Revs are continuing with their plans to find the Raenqal, an ancient machine that supposedly has the power to move entire planets. With the first part already uncovered in Ronisgald, the Revs are setting their sights on the technological super-nation of Rimstak and the floating continent of Rising Star. Take to the skies with thrilling dog fights, scheming sky pirates, a wild race through the skies of Rimstak, and a continent full of xenophobic sentients as Mikaen, One, and their friends try to stop the Revs before their plans spell destruction for Vinta ... and Earth.
- Out of Control

Michael James Wilbur
I'm an author of light fantasy and science fiction novels, my first being "A Dreamer's Knight"; and my latest being "Wisp - A Scarecrow's Tale". While larger themes may appear in my work, I'm simply out to provide an enjoyable experience to my readers ... and possibly a brief escape from the confines of this reality. I call myself a Dreamer, and while I lack the abilities of the Dreamers of the Elsewhere Incorporate, I do my best to leave things better than I find them, be it at home, at my secondary job, or in the world at large. Don't know if I'm really having an effect on any of those, but to try is the thing as far as I'm concerned. I sincerely hope you enjoy my work, and hope that you'll let me know if you do by writing a review.
