Billie Eilish has a new record out and I wanted to talk about my burden to talk to young people about what has been stolen from them. Billie Elish has been gifted by God in the writing and performance of songs. Her song What Was I Made For is heartbreaking because it is so beautiful, but also because of the question it asks. I want to share with you my response to her and all women.  What does God’s Word say? Mark 16:1-81 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3 and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.Luke 12:4-74 “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
