Description
This week we chat with actor, action actor, writer and filmmaker Jenna Kanell! You've seen her in films like Terrifier, Terrifier 2 and Renfield. Her latest film is Faceless After Dark, which they co-wrote and acted in, and it is currently in select theaters and available through VOD. We chat about "action acting", the way in which Terrifier inspired her film before going back to their childhood to discover their relationship to horror. Finally we find out why Donnie Darko terrified her growing up. Along the way we talk existential horror, Mary Beth and Terry's first experience with the film and how it's changed overtime. And Jenna gives us a crash course on What It All Means as we discuss the way the film tackles the idea of free will. Basically we need Jenna back for a round two discussion. You can follow Jenna on Instagram and Twitter.
