Whether we were really afraid of something like spiders or snakes OR we were afraid of rejection…fear is a real thing. The cool thing is, is that we can be FULLY free from fear because fear is a tactic of the devil and we are more powerful than him when we tap into the amazing power of Jesus! 1. Realize fear separates you from GodThere is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear… The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (1 John 4:18). God is love and there is no fear in love. So in other words…you can’t live in fear AND in God’s love. They contradict each other. Taht doesn’t mean God doesn’t love you BUT when you choose to walk in fear you choose to step out of God’s loving covering cause they can’t coexist!2. Realign your focus- Shift your focus from your fear to JESUS!Hebrews 12:2- And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.-tell story of brothers racing when they were babies3. Read Scripture aloud! And speak life over yourself.You do not have to be ruled or controlled by fear anymore, friend!!
