All we want for Christmas is for yards to matter instead of the final score. The Seahawks defense was able to hold Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to fewer than 300 yards on Saturday. But, on a day where the defense had some success (apart from creating turnovers) the offense wasn't effective enough to produce more than 10 points. Even with the loss, Seattle was helped by several other teams who stumbled this week and allowed them to stay in the playoff picture.
