Description

Maybe the show title is missing a question mark. When it comes to a commitment to the run game, it seems like three straight runs to start the game was enough, because Seattle completely moved away with it and had no success through the second and third quarters. The clear lack of a run game was the story of the game as the Seahawks fall to the Bears 24-17. The score didn't dictate any reason to keep the ball off the ground as Seattle was down only 10-3 at halftime thanks to a long field goal by Janikowski. It wasn't until Seattle started moving the ball on the ground in the fourth quarter that the Seahawks started to see some success against the Bears defensive line. Before the start of the fourth quarter, Wilson had dropped back 14 straight times and was sacked a total of six times throughout the game.  After a Tyler Lockett touchdown got them within a score, the defense got a stop and Seattle had the momentum. As the announcers were cheering the commitment to the run, the Seahawks go to an empty backfield and Russell's pass out to Penny on the sideline was picked off and returned for a touchdown. The guys discuss where to assess blame and it wasn't to the defense, which managed to hold the Bears offense to 17 points without Bobby Wagner, K.J. Wright and their starting corner from the game against the Broncos. Where was Chris Carson in the second half? According to Coach Carroll he was "gassed" from playing on special teams. The guys offer some positives as the team heads back home to Seattle after Shaquill Griffin had a monster game with two interceptions. We close with a discussion over whether or not Coach Carroll had the opportunity to challenge a potential turnover early on in the game where Earl Thomas appeared to force a fumble.
