On today’s episode, Ute talks to Daniela Schlingloff, a German horse trainer who moved to the Camargue a couple of years ago to live and work there. Daniela tells us about her journey with horses and how her mare Alisha forced her to get a better and quicker horse women, setting her on her path to become a successful horse trainer. After spending some time in Canada learning Natural Horsemanship and training green horses, she discovered the Dual Activation system developed by the German horse trainer Michael Geitner. She studied it and today is a certified trainer, teaching people in Switzerland and France and helping them improve their relationship with horses. We talk about her training methods, how the brain of the horse works, her love for the Camargue horses and why she decided to relocate to Southern France and never regretted her decision.
