Attachment is a topic that I stumbled across through Adam’s appearances on Modern Wisdom and I’ve been down the rabbit hole on Adam’s content ever since from his Twitter, Blog and Youtube to one of his books.
Expect to learn about what attachment is and what role is plays in our relationships. Beyond this we dive into different attachment styles, where they come from, how they develop, and what you can do to work on your attachment issues.
This was a fascinating conversation and I learned so much during it. There is a large section on evolutionary psychology and the role this plays in the different ways that men and women bond to one another. Interestingly, this leads onto discussions on the differences between male and female depression and mental health , hook up culture and even sex drive and intimacy.
Adam is a titan in this space and it’s clear that our attachment styles, our awareness of our own and others around us enable us to live happier, healthier lives with more fulfilling relationships.
