Today's conversation is with Brendan Carpenter, a runner from Canada who has accomplished a huge weight loss transformation.
We learn about Brendan's background, growing up as a sporty child who began to peak in his weight gain towards the end of high school. As part of this we explore relationship with food, emotional eating and childhood dynamics in school.
Brendan shares with us the two life altering moments when he decided he had to make a change. In this discussion, we learn the mistakes Brendan made, the mindset he adopted to overcome the challenges, the steps he took to finally see results.
We discuss how Brendan found running as a means of finally completing his weight loss journey, and how he gained purpose and community in this space.
Lastly, we share Non Scale Victories that can support any body transformation and some of the goals that Brendan has set for 2021 to keep his positive focus including using his home gym - The Shred Shed!
