Gaby Moreno had quite the banner week last week. She made her US TV debut on Monday on the tonight show, won a Grammy on Sunday, and somewhere in between found time to chat and play music with us! The extraordinary, multi-genre, multi-lingual, multi-aware winning, UNICEF Ambassador, singer-songwriter, Gaby shares stories of her marvelous career to date. From growing up in Guatemala and her early fascination with Blues music, to her arrival States-side and her first experiences with labels, to finding a community in the Largo scene in LA and subsequently her authentic musical voice. She tells us what it’s like to write a them song for a huge and beloved TV show, her love of Disney and much more! It was an honor, Gaby, and we couldn’t be happier for your Grammy win for Best Latin Pop album for X Mi! Her newest album, Dusk, comes out Feb 16th.
