Description

This season, Jac and Amy conduct a literary analysis of Sara J Maas' book Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood! This is Part 2 of Episode 14.Lehabah’s sacrifice allows Bryce the time she needs to kill Micah. But when the Aux don’t come to arrest her for the crime of killing Valbara’s Governor, Bryce is terrified to realize it’s because the Horn has opened portals for the worst demons of the pit to rise up and terrorize Lunathion. While Bryce attempts to help those who are helpless, most of the Aux are stuck following protocol, and only the canine shifters and some of the Viper Queen’s fae guards come to assist her in her attempt to aid the humans of Asphodel Meadows. In an effort to save Ithan, Bryce sacrifices her ability to secure herself in a bunker and must reveal her deepest secret to close the portals to Hel. But when only one portal closes, and Sandriel makes it clear she has communicated Bryce as a threat to the Asteri, Hunt seizes the opportunity and help from Hypaxia to wreak havoc on the remaining archangel before he leaves to save Bryce. This episode of Book Talk for BookTok covers chapters 80 through 89 of Sarah J. Book Talk for BookTok co-hosts Jac and Amy deep dive into the writing of some of BookTok's favorite novels.
