Description

This season, Jac and Amy conduct a literary analysis of Sara J Maas' book Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood! This is Part 1 of Episode 11.Despite pleas from her mother and Hunt, Bryce refuses to see a mediwith about the pain in her leg. Her investigation leads her to a new hidden truth, that Danika was somehow involved in Synth and kept the information from Bryce. The pain of this realization does not make the day of Dankia’s birthday any better, nor does the cruel joke Amelie plays on Bryce. While Hunt reacts poorly to this, Bryce uses it as motivation to take care of her wound and assist in the creation of a Synth antidote in the process. Hunt is faced with the consequences of his actions, and while Bryce tends to his wounded body she also uncovers more deadly truths about Synth that put everyone she knows in more danger than ever before. This episode of Book Talk for BookTok covers chapters 57 through 64 of Sarah J. Maas' Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood.Support the show
