From the South African national team, his next stop was to England as a Kolpak player... until Brexit put a stop to that. But when that door closed, another opened into the Namibian national team, getting the chance to represent a second country and this time at multiple World Cups. From there, showing his talent as a regular matchwinner on the global stage, the all-rounder hit the road as a freelancer, making a full-time living in his late 30s in just about every T20 league going. His life is the subject of a new podcast series, Hitman for Hire: A year in the life of a franchise cricketer, and he joined Adam (having just finished a T20 International against Oman!) to tell us how the merry-go-round feels when you're the one riding it.
