XIU XIU is an experimental rock group with an eclectic and at times deeply noisy sound, and lyrics that deal with dark and intensely personal subject matter. They are extremely important to me personally going back to my teen years, and were my direct gateway to the world of harsh noise, specifically through hearing a remix of one their songs by THE CHERRY POINT.
