Our Fiona Caruso voice actress is a book author named Lily Sparks and she has a cool as hell dystopian, YA sci-fi romance/adventure coming out called "The Merciless King of Moore High."
(You may know her from the beloved Teen Killers Club series). 
Here is premise:
When all the adults in tiny Brockton, Connecticut  morph into monsters overnight, the teens barricade themselves in their high schools and develop different societies. 
Hard-partying Moore builds a neo-feudal society based on a popular video game where everyone goes out and slays the "dragons."
Prestigious magnet school Jefferson lives in the dark, sending out their athletes to raid for canned goods while their student council debates how to avoid starvation.
They know they must slay the monsters, or become them. But when these factions meet again after almost  a year, they only want to conquer each other.

Of course I’ve read this book. It’s really cool, it has teens and intrigue and romance but what I love about it is the emotion. This is respectable dystopian sci-fi packaged as a blockbuster.
