Cynthia Myers-Morrison, EdD. is a Certified Food Addiction Counselor. She is Certified and Licensed to offer the SUGAR® Assessment based on ICD or DSM criteria for Substance Use. In addition to her 3 masters and doctorate degrees, she continued professional studies in INFACT, IIN, Boston Trauma Center, Institute of Integrative Nutrition and International Food Addiction Counseling Training. Cynthia has a personal food addiction recovery story of letting go of nearly 100 pounds and has kept it off for more than 22 years. She is driven to help increase educational resources for those not yet served and helped accomplished this by co-authoring THE FIX for cravings. In her role as Vice Chair of FAI, she strives to support individuals, families, legislators, and educators in changing responses to food addiction. Her interest in genealogy, genes, and Daughters of the American Revolution led to her creation of the Genogram Discovery Program, which she offers in addition to Food Addiction Counselling, Speaking, and advocating.
