The name Quetzalcoatl is derived from the Nahuatl language and is often translated as "feathered serpent." This deity held significant importance in various aspects of Mesoamerican cosmology, including creation myths, religious rituals, and social organization. Bibliography  Aguilar-Moreno, M. (2006).
