The Edmonton Oilers did not make it easy on themselves last night versus the St Louis Blues. Despite that, they managed to come away with a 3-2 overtime win to move within a point of the Vegas Golden Knights in the Pacific Division.Goals from Robert Thomas and Pavel Buchnevich gave the Blues a 2-0 lead early in the game. However, the Oilers managed to battle back thanks to two goals from Zach Hyman. The Oilers forward moved his goal tally up to 40 after his performance last night for the first time in his career. Nothing was solved after 60 minutes extending the game and then Connor McDavid, known more for his passing, finished off the game ending a ten game goalless draught.
