The extension keeps Johnson in Pittsburgh until he's 29 years old and gives the Steelers their No. 1 receiver for the first years of Kenny Pickett's career, while also giving Johnson a well-paying deal that lets him retest the WR market before he's 30 years old.The deal is a big move by new general manager Omar Khan, who saw Johnson at Steelers training camp during his hold-in.
