But are those rumors true? Johnson made some cryptic tweets about his situation that left Steelers fans wondering if he might want a major payday with his next contract. He's rumored to want $22 million/year, but such a contract wouldn't be as costly as some might think with the rapidly rising NFL salary cap, and might actually be a reasonable price for a team's top receiver. But the questions is: is he worth that?Even if the Steelers can get Johnson to agree to a long term deal, Kevin Colbert and Mike Tomlin need to have backup plan in place for the wide receiver position. Not only should the team sign a free agent wide receiver in a pool of players that still has Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Emmanuel Sanders, T.Y.
