"Bobi Wine: The People's President" had its world premiere at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival, screened out of competition but received critical acclaim. It would go on to receive the IDA Award for Best Feature Documentary and is now nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature Film. Directors Christopher Sharp and Moses Bwayo were kind enough to spend a few minutes speaking with us about their six-year experience making the film.
