"The Beast" had its world premiere at the 80th annual Venice International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews and went on to screen at TIFF and NYFFF. A French, Canadian production with multiple time periods loosely based on Henry James's 1903 novella "The Beast in the Jungle," the deeply philosophical film stars Léa Seydoux, George MacKay, Guslagie Malanda & Dasha Nekrasova.
