The Lakers' preseason is officially in the books after a 116-112 loss to the Sacramento Kings, the sixth loss in as many tries before the real games begin. (ALL HAIL 0-6!!!) But that last go-around wasn't entirely negative. To begin, this was arguably the best individual game each for LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, and without question their best as a trio. For that matter, DeAndre Jordan (in by far his best showing as a Laker), Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, and Austin Reaves all enjoyed some nice moments. On balance, it was the best the Lakers have looked, period.That said, as one might expect after a loss, it also wasn't all peaches and cream, especially on the defensive end, where the Lakers remain somewhere between "inconsistent" and "a flat out mess."
