The New Orleans Saints were given a heads up by Brian Flores in regard to his lawsuit file against the NFL for discriminatory hiring practices and other unethical actions taken by NFL teams. While some assumed Flores would be knowingly sacrificing his coaching career by speaking up about his and many other minority experiences, what if he and the Saints actually found common ground instead? former head coach Sean Payton always pushed Saints organization to regularly challenge the league, their practices, and more. Could Brian Flores pick up where Payton left off, not just with the team from a scheme and philosophy perspective but from a cultural leadership one as well?The Saints have a ton of talent on their coaching staff, but one name that continues to go unsung is QB Coach Ronald Curry. Phenomenal two-sport athlete in college at the University of North Carolina, the Tarheel was asked to serve a new role in the NFL. After his NFL career, he shifted his focus to coaching and has quickly risen through the ranks in New Orleans as one of the few Black QB Coaches in the league. This puts Curry on a fast track to a potential future as an offensive coordinator and eventually head coach.Malik Willis, Liberty quarterback continues to show out in Senior Bowl practices. With the second and most rainy day down, Willis has one more day to continue to raise his draft stock in the presence of other potential first round QBs. Willis's arm and mobility are hard to miss out on the field.
