The Panthers would later use that fuel to explode for three first period goals, including two 17 seconds apart. The Cats had multi-point efforts from Matthew Tkachuk, Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Reinhart, Anton Lundell, and Gustav Forsling. Florida allowed 1 SOG in the last 14 minutes of the first, none of the two Arizona power plays. Panthers had all four lines going, including the newly formed line of Rodrigues-Barkov-Samoskevich, where they generated a good amount of chances on the night. Anton Lundell continues his great play since being reunited with Sam Reinhart on nice beautiful finish off a 2-on-1. Jonah Gadjovich gets his first as a Panther as well.
