The Dodgers scored eight runs in the top of the 1st inning against the Padres in the Cactus League opener, and ended up with a 14-1 win. While there isn't too much to draw from one spring game, it was a fun way to kick off 2024 for the Dodgers. Gavin Stone started and even though he threw just one inning, he generated a few whiffs with his changeup. He's got a legit chance to make the Opening Day roster. Lastly, Mookie Betts has a goal set in mind now that he plays second base, Tyler Glasnow will throw this weekend in Cactus League, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto impressed again in live batting practice.
