I have heard so many awkward, weird, and uncomfortable tithe/offering speeches and sermons on giving, so I wanted to take the weirdness out of church collections, talk about some misconceptions when it comes to giving financially to a church, discuss what actually happens to your money when you give to a church, and what it does to our hearts when we do or don't give.Before you swipe left on this episode, here me out! The Bible has a lot to say on this topic, so let's discuss the difference between a tithe and an offering as well as what we are called to do financially as the modern church.I know how difficult it can be to give, and Lord knows I have tried to justify my way out of giving MANY times.
