While some find it utterly obtrusive and unacceptable, there is a growing number of golfers who love the concept of music on the course. Please don’t think we are advocating the jerks out there who blast the music disrupting everyone around them. There’s a level of civility that needs to be maintained if you enjoy playing your music playlist while golfing. For the most part, the people we have encountered who play music have been respectful and understand this trend is something that needs to be cared for as it matures. You’re not going to change the golfing world by being a pompous ass and forcing your way into the game. Meet John, the man behind the birth of Ampcaddy John has a great story of how he came to be a player in this music on the course niche. In this episode, John joined Matt for some candid behind the scenes information on how Ampcaddy started, and what the future holds for them. Music on the course is a love it or hate it type of experience. John has some fantastic insight into the golf speaker space. He shared with us how he got started with Ampcaddy, his background with golf, and why he has the knowledge to grow this business. With the good, there comes some bad Unfortunately, there was some lousy press thrown in the direction of Ampcaddy. We thought it would be an excellent opportunity for John to share his thoughts on what happened with MyGolfSpy. We let him explain why he feels they could be doing so much more with the platform they have. If you’re looking for a hate speech on why MyGolfSpy is an awful company, don’t listen. John is very respectful and made it clear he has more things to concern himself with than some social media posts. He has a reputable company that is producing a fantastic product that is only getting better with time. When you take into consideration his background in golf and the audio industry, we hope you’ll get a better understanding of how poor a decision it was for MyGolfSpy to attack them.
