The Jets were in town for what promised to be a battle of the 2 top goaltenders in the NHL. It did in fact begin as a stale mate, as both goalies were perfect through the first period. The Canucks had a huge advantage in shots throughout the game, but in the end, Winnipeg won the goalie battle 4-2.
