Description

Born and raised in North Carolina, Audrey Weaver, DVM, received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science/Pre veterinary medicine from Virginia State University in 2008. She went on to obtain her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University in 2014. After graduating, Weaver completed a 1yr ER-focused rotating internship In Chandler, Arizona. She continued working as an emergency/critical care veterinarian in Arizona, California, and Maryland until 2021. Some of Weaver’s veterinary interests include educating clients, fear-free/low stress handling techniques, pain management, fluid resuscitation, wound care, radiology/ultrasonography, and chronic kidney disease management.

Dr. Weaver works hard so her fur-children Marilyn (elderly schnauzer), Ozil (middle aged dachshund mix), Talullah (a long hair kitty goddess), and Rhaegal Dracarys (an adorable hearing-impaired/deaf kitten) can live comfortably. When she’s not tending to her “flock” you can find her building LEGO creations, watching anime/MCU/Harry Potter, reading manga, playing board games, meditating, or spending time with her beautiful support system made up of biological and chosen family, friends, and colleagues.
