Description
"Get involved early in your career in some aspect of organized veterinary medicine."This episode kicks off the miniseries for recent graduates with this message: it's never too early to immerse yourself in organized veterinary medicine. We're talking to you, recent graduates and veterinary students! When you play a role in organized veterinary medicine, you can make an impact on the profession, build meaningful relationships and gain access to opportunities and connections you wouldn’t have otherwise. Will McCauley, DVM, MBA, is a big advocate for this, as he gained so much personally and professionally from his involvement in TVMA and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Dr. McCauley was chair of AVMA's Early Career Development Committee, participated in the inaugural TVMA Power of 10 Leadership Program and now serves as the Washington D.C. District Director in the AVMA House of Delegates. He is the Director of the Veterinary Biologics department at the Animal Health Institute (AHI), a trade association in Washington D.C. that represents companies that develop and produce animal medication: https://ahi.org/ Be sure to follow us on social media.@texas_vma #Veterinary Vitals #TVMAPodcastSupport the show
