Description

Hello Slackers. Seasons Greetings! I hope you're all good this week. We have a wicked podcast for you this week. The UK's finest producer Mura Masa popped by the dungeon studio in Soho earlier in the year for a chat and he brought with him one of his earliest demo's. Most MC's, singers and musicians would kill to have Alex Crossan in the studio. I didn't think it appropriate to ask him to make a beat for me considering i can't sing or rap. He's an interesting dude. We took a look at the music industry through the eyes of a successful and sought after 23 year old. I really enjoyed our chat, hope you do too. Please send guest suggestions for Season 2. I just started recording them last weekBefore I forget. The Slacker Club Night is going on tour in February. The Magic Gang will be headlining each night of the tour along with a super secret support and myself DJ'n. We are playing inFeb 20th - Engine Rooms - SouthamptonFeb 21st - Sub89 - ReadingFeb 22n - Dreamland - MargateYou can buy tickets here -https://www.songkick.com/artists/7449559-magic-gang@philytaggart on Instagram@philytaggart on TwitterSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/phil-taggarts-slacker-podcast. Hello Slackers! Welcome to the UK's Biggest Music Podcast. Each week, host Phil Taggart grills a new guest or band on their musical career to date with the sonic launch point being as early a demo as we can prise from their vaults. From here the conversation freewheels down a spaghetti junction of quirky anecdotes, hot takes and uncovers the journey each artist has taken to where they are today.
