Description

Dennis, Ed, Eve, and Kate are joined by returning guests Caitlin and Karen as we discuss the third disc from Bandai's The Vision of Escaflowne release. We wonder why the winged people are called "Draconian," where Atlantis is located in this world, remembering two-way pagers, the role of women doctors in Gaea, Hitomi being a psychic trainer, the Dobson brother trio, racism against Dopplegangers, long distance tarot card reading, Doppleganger physiology, incorrect portrayal of CPR, and most importantly, we see more of Van's battle growth in these three episodes. We also return to Club Escaflowne, with part 2 featuring Minami Takayama (Dilandau), Shinichiro Miki (Allen), and Mayumi Iizuka (Millerna), with an even more ridiculously looking Tomokazu Seki once again conducting interviews. How can it be more awkward than part 1? We'll let you know. Thanks again to special guests Caitlin (We're Not Twins Cosplay) and Karen (Rya Cosplay) for joining us again Dennis: @ichnob | Diana: @binkxy | Ed: @ippennokuinashi | Eve: @eve_il | Kate: @TaikoChan | Sam: @EssFive Website | Email | Facebook | Twitter | iTunes | Stitcher | Google Play Music | Blubrry | RSS Support the show by purchasing The Vision of Escaflowne on Amazon! Titles in the series (100)

A group of friends, a disc of anime, a bottle of wine...better make it two. We're an anime podcast taking a look back at some older anime titles on physical media, and seeing if they still hold up or not. Sometimes time lets us appreciate overlooked titles, while other instances require us to remove those rose-tinted glasses. So grab a glass of wine and have a listen.
